Addressing the opportunities and challenges facing our fast growing city as the city works to develop a 20 year plan is critical. This includes responsible growth, protecting taxpayers, ensuring public safety keeps up with growth, seeking state and federal grants to help pay for infrastructure upgrades and ensuring fiscal responsibility. My 45-plus year career as a lawyer and advocate who has worked on infrastructure projects with local, state an federal officials of all political stripes has prepared me to make valuable contributions to the development of the city's 20 year plan.
As we look to the future of Hardeeville, my focus is clear: growth must pay for growth. I am committed to managed, responsible growth that protects our taxpayers. I will fight to bring more of our hard-earned taxpayer dollars back home to Hardeeville, while also working to bring in more private capital. This is how we fund our vital infrastructure and strengthen our public safety without putting the burden on you. It is about true fiscal responsibility.
